This patented product was created after many hours of research and ideation at my internship at Calphalon®. The overall shape, contours, and safety requirements were the result of a careful study of current slicers on the market. Many models available lacked real safety equipment, I even injured myself while testing some of them, I believe that this is a true testament to my desire for helping create a safe to use, beautifully designed slicer for the home kitchen.
